The estate

The history of an estate

Welcome to a lively and spiritual place

In such a crazy world, a place like the Château La Castille feels like a breath of fresh air. Belonging to the Diocese of Fréjus-Toulon, this important winery in the Var has been cultivated since the Middle Ages and has existed under its present name since the 16th century. At the heart of the village-like property, you’ll find winemakers and gardeners, seminarians and religious folk, people in search of spirituality, families on an outing, casual athletes, and (naturally) lovers of Provence wines.

At the heart of a natural area under a cerulean blue sky, nature is in full bloom, with plenty of birds, dragonflies and bees present, alongside the locals and people from further afield looking to get away from it all.
This is the way of life you’ll find with each day God makes. Welcome to the Lord’s vineyard!
